Have you thought of putting a map with pvp and pve areas together like a lot of the private servers have made so that small tribes can enjoy the ship pvp without having their base trashed by the large tribes and have a safe area to relax when they want to just build.

I cannot be the only person who doesn't know this, so I will ask: When will the Livestream be and where can we access it?

Hey great to have another livestream 🙂

Some things on my mind maybe you can share some info on some of these:
 

New Ships/Vehicles: An important feature of the game, can you share anything on these no matter how vague at least that some thing will come some time?

Crew Functionality: Will crew be able to do more tasks and even on land, maybe guard duty, raising an alarm, maning mining or woodcutter camps and so on?

MMO Living World: Will we see something like a living and changing world with some bigger events?

Trading: NPC Ports with different prices to allow a trading career when you are not on a server with a functioning player trading network?

Quests: Will we see some of the basic MMO stuff to keep players playing? Could be exciting tasks in a dynamic way, collect and deliver certain amount of resources, defend location against npc armada, attack certain npc base or ship, steal special goods from npc ship, base.

Progression mechanic: Will you flesh out the progression mechanic to provide some of the basics for an mmo that keep players playing for a long term?
Like different xp trees (build ships, become better at building ships, faction relations, expansion of the gold progression and other alternate ways to progress in a permanent way.

Survival: Will the survival mechanic(collect resources and survive without a ship) and the gold mechanic(once you have a ship collect gold and buy the basics with it, upgrade ships and buy better ships with gold etc.) be separated to allow for a true survival experience when you dont have access to a ship and thus gold and traders?

Water/Air Bases: Will we see under water basebuilding or flying bases/islands

Crew Breeding: Any Infos on breeding our own crew? Has that horrendous baby model improved 😉 Will we see gradual aging and an expansion to the age slider to allow human npcs to grow up and get old in a normal way and not change from a new born into a random 90year old looking crew like they pop from the shop?

Sliders: Will we get a feet height slider? Small Characters with small feet look awkward from the side with their brick feet 😉
Will the aging include sliders in the future so old characters shrink a bit and loose muscles for example?

Wild Pirate Encampments/Strongholds: Will they just be kill on sight and feature the same wonky respawn mechanic as the treasure maps or will we get a different system for example kill x numbers and they retreat or stop respawning instead of kill all in one go?
Will Encampments be peaceful initially and let us trade with them and do they also spawn ports so we can trade with them when we dont want to settle on ever island in single player and dedicated?

- Can we have Wallhooks that dont get destroyed every time  a Ship takes part in a fight?

- Is there are way in the future to refill lanterns out of the Tax Bank?

- Will there be a way to Offline Sell Tames on officials?

- Will the new Cat pet also starve atleast 5 times a day like a Reallife cat?

Are there any plans to make sailing in PvE fun? (or at least less boring)

Are there any plans to allow solo players have fun? (like unlocking groupal content like the submarine for solo players)

Are there any plans to remove decay?

Are there any plans to make the game progression meaningfull?

Are there any plans to make SotD grind worth it?

Are there any plans to rework the skill tree?

Are there any plans to make guns better than bow/crossbow? (as logic indicates it should be)

Are there any plans to allow pirates to be free entities instead of feudal lord slaves?

I would like the possibility of these topics covered please

 

NPC changes- such as making them be able to do stuff like gather resources, sail their own ships without having to have a player aboard.

 

New ship or ship changes- either a frigate to go in between the brig and galleon as the difference between the 2 is ungodly or rework the brig to make it a better in between for the schooner and galleon.

Tarot tree- progress on it and possibly how it will work (partially to crush the rumors you'll be able to interbreed animals with it)

 

Sail changes- how are you gonna fix speed sails as max velocity is disabled due to it's overpowered nature, and once you fix them can you make weight sails more viable like the blueprint ones.

Basically I'm curious about the above subjects.

Playing on PVEs is very boring at the moment, whether you plan to create a developed trading system, introduce NPC fractions or something like that for a change?

(maybe something similar to Port Royale or Patrician) Pirate NPCs and fractional caravans, ships that can be stolen and that can be robbed?

Are you planning to work on your deficit documentation for help modder? (because you make a whole map blackhood to help us, but there is no explanation at all for anything)

Do you plan like the Ark to integrate one or two animals for each update?

Will you add one new ship or sail (no cosmetic) this year?

Have you worked for an improvement of the colony system?

Can we have a whole plan for everything you will develop during this year? (like priority fix bug, adding an island, adding quests, console... etc.)

For the next big update, did you plan a wipe?

What do you think about the meta pvp on the ground and the ship we are actually playing?

Did you plan something for bringing more player for counter your very bad evaluation on steam?

Does ship will go faster or official will have a smaller map for the early access because of the low population?

Is there any possibility that the EU and NA server merge?

What about something in the vein of daily quests from other MMOs. Go to the freeport, pick up a couple of quests (one to bring back a tamed tiger, one to bring certain resources, one to kill so many of this or that), bring them back for rewards of actual gear (NOT BPs) and some gold, etc.

Also, are you considering changes to skill trees?  Specifically, promoting trade by requiring the skills in order to *craft* the items, but not to use them.  Would be fantastic to have trade/specialization in those skills be useful.  As it is, to be able to use the item, I am already able to craft it.  Not great.

What is being done to remove the "land warfare" meta from the game and move it towards ship/open-sea conflicts?

PVPVE all on one map?

Will you be adding repeatable end game content. The Kraken and Giant Yeti are cool but not much incentive to repeat. It's hard to choose to spend time in Atlas when you have finished all the content when there isn't any repeatability.

Some more questions about NPC crew on ships:

Will we be able to place NPCs in the crows nest so players can go back to steer ships from the wheel?

Will NPC be able to notify you about danger like SotD so you can go below the deck and actually do stuff while sailing?

Will NPC captains be able to have different behavior like attack enemies, flee, avoid danger in sight?


Some more questions in general:

Will there be Day and Night as two different experiences? For example SotD spawn only during night time, undead roam some areas during night times, some predators hunt during the night and move around more but rest during the day and more features so night and day feel different.
Will we see regular Ghost ships, NPC pirates, NPC traders and other stuff to liven up the world? (could be server based, the fewer players are on the server grid the more NPC ships can spawn to keep performance on a good level)

And like others asked already, will we see a true mmo server -> structured map with newbie area, PVE area, regulated PVP area, no build adventure area, full PVP area? Increasing the difficulty and reward the farther you get away from the newbie area.

I love the game, but I'm not really digging the minigame for reloading your guns.  Can we get a gun that doesn't have the minigame?  Will there be a better gun like a sawed off shotgun? Thank you for your hard work and continuing dedication to this game!

1. -  When does the earliest release of atlas would be possible?

2. - MEGA UPDATE focused on Animals and structures possible this year(Glass type structures, maybe some metal ones steam punk style as it fits to the pirate theme)?

-  could we get a tavern NPC that can sell Food Players Cook and it does Not spoil or Not aslong as the Fire is Burning or the NPC has Salt Maybe.  And do you guys And Girls Are having Any Plans for ingame trading so we Dont Need to use discord for it?

Any plans on implementing a group function that let's people play together without touching their Companies?

Any plans on improving the player shops? I would like to offer gold to get resources.

Any plans on physical cargo loading? I would like to carry a chest or a water barrel exactly like an explosive barrel.

Any plans on implementing a crows hideout where you can send them all across the ATLAS to deliver some letters? (Like in Game of thrones but probably too much RP)

Any plans on player made treasure maps? (Where I can bury a chest with my own loot and I can give the map to someone else)

Any plans on reducing ship claim time below 1 hour if on the ocean? (I want to pirate stuff)

Will ships get a nice overhaul like the  ideas below?

EXAMPLE #1: Captains cabin that snaps to the stern of the ship with various styles:
1) Medium Captain Cabin (for Brigantines) with a Captain's Desk, a Bed, a chest, furnishings, and windows through the stern planks.

2) Medium Captain Cabin (for Brigantines) with the above features, but excluding windows, and adding stern gun ports.

3) Large Luxurious Captain Cabin (for Galleons) with highly decorative Captain's Desk, Beautifully crafted bed, furnishings, paintings, and windows on the port, stern, and starboard sides with curtains.

4) Large Luxurious Captain Cabin (for Galleons) with the above mentioned features, only replacing the stern windows for 4 stern gun ports.

EXAMPLE #2: Ship's Galley

- Basically, depending on ship size, have a component that snaps on to the planks of the ship where no gun ports are installed, and that has the following:

    - Cages for tamed chickens (collecting eggs in its inventory), a stove, food storage (ice box, bags, and larder) all in one location that LOOKS like a ship's galley of that time period.

EXAMPLE #3: Animal Pen
- A component that snaps onto a Brig and a Galleon that has a opening to the top with a lift to bring animals up, and that has a pen full of hay that you can "MOVE" command  your tier 1 or tier 2 animal to. Tier 3 animals still would have to ride on top. It also has an inventory to allow for feeding your animals on long journeys.

Can we get the fire elementals removed from game? They are ridiculous 

The kraken and ice cave are fun but not worth multiple runs. It would be nice to have smaller caves with loot drops or something worth running numerous times.
