Large Shipyard spam

Devs,

 

Someone TP over to Boom Teams main island in H10 (Rapenhead Atoll) and look at how these guys are YET AGAIN abusing an in game mechanic. They must have 20 large shipyards locked together each at 100,000 HP preventing any type of water attack. They dont even bother to build walls, or any other ACTUAL defense. I dont know why there isnt something put out that says any abuse related to exploiting the systems items or buildings with UNINTENDED purposes can result in item destruction ECT. THis goes with pillars as well. Just another example of companies abusing PVP to the point no one wants to play the game. Its pretty easy to see the companies abusing the game and those playing it correctly.

If you could please make it happen, that PVP defenses would finally work against attacker... we that need to protect our stuff from your attacks would happily stop stuffing structures in the hope to be somewhat save from the broken PVP...if some cannons at sea and some puckles on land can actually protect anything we would rather build that, than building up to the structure limits...

also please note that your complain about the shipyard spam seems to show that this works to protect against attacks... ergo good option to put down even more of those for protection... thank you...! 😏

So you know how to build cannons and puckles with NPCs that have atleast as much range as their PC counterparts...?
Great! Please let the Devs know about it, so they can finally implement it in the game...

Has nothing to do with how u build. NPC mounted cannons/puckles and so on do not work as intented: they do NOT shoot at the range they could & should (no matter the settings). Even worse: if the server laggs due to overload they even miss ppl right in front of them.

If you don't belive it do the following test:

- build a cannon towards water
- fire shot as far as you can and mark the landing spot with a boye
- let an NPC mount that cannon and make sure all settings are correct
- let someone with a cheap slopp sail towards that boye from the sea. From the boye the person shall sail straight towards the cannon.
--> note at which point the NPC finally starts shooting and realise how easy it is to out-range NPC-mounted weapons.
