Mnt_Y_EU_PVE over-spawning

I raised this under the dedicated servers section:

 

 

 

But we have loaded a single player game and this island is the same on single player as it is on our unofficial server. 

MNT_Y_EU_PVE is massively over-spawning animals and hydras.

I appreciate you're very busy, but I would like to hear to confirmation as to whether you consider this to be a bug, or whether the "over-spawning" on this island was intentional.

This L3 on official? It's certainly a little above normal. OTOH it makes mythos farming easy when three hydrae spawn all in the same spot.

Yea I'm pretty sure it's in L3. It is a pretty good spot to take advantage of decent shieldhorn and razortooth tames... And farming mythos here is great, but actually completing the cave proved near on impossible. 

 

The number of spawns inside the cave is absolute chaos. The only strategy here is rushing past it all, grabbing the stone and letting them kill you. 

 

I challenge anyone to clear out that cave before the first kills respawn on you again. We had a team of 6 people using legendary and mythic carbines but the numbers are overwhelming. To top it off, there's everything on the beaches that's coming in from behind you, which also respawn before you've even scratched the surface of the cave spawns. Inside the city on this island spawns in excess of 200 animals/monsters/leatherwings. 

 

I checked one of the upper levels in a city building where creatures usually spawn, and on this island, it was atleast 3 times more than the other island buildings. The rooftop spawns were so dense, they could barely move.

Which is how it's normally done on any island! 🙂

We usually lure them in to the pit below, kill the bats, and go get the powerstone... We even make it outside aswell. 

This cave has lion/tiger spawns... And god knows why but it has bears spawning inside too?
