gumbyc 53 Posted June 28, 2019 Those of us with ships find mooring next to a dock advantageous for loading and unloading supplies. To accomplish this we build docks parallel to shore. Building perpendicular to the shore is a better solution but requires too many pillar supports if the water is too deep. Floating docks would be a great benefit.
