Time to get used to more tames and more land combat. Forget about your ships, this is ark after all.

Yeah and that's where New World comes in. Amazons gave Grapeshots head start with Atlas and if things stays current way until end of August, Atlases playerbase will flee to New World.

Fuck new world (although I am curious how well that engine works out). The entirety of Atlas is just a part of Ashes of Creation. But that may still be 2 or 3 years out.

get rid of increased harvesting rates and just cut the cost for every resource when you build something

jesus you spend half the game slowly walking around because you reach max weight after a few min of farming and moving resources around takes up more time then the actual harvesting

the "events" that increase your resource gathering just make people feel forced into harvesting at that period of time instead of doing what they would rather be doing

ontop of that everyone builds so freaking much it lags the server and  ruins gameplay it may as well be on creative mode

    sooo...

    - ships now get sunk by pop up cannon/torpedo crabs/Tortugas....
    - tames can now use cannons while swimming / cannons touching water...
    - NPCs can be used again for tame weapons...

tell us again, how this game is about sailing ships...?!?!

    I get it,
you don't play this game yourselves, nor do you play ARK... nothing is working out for you and your concepts for Atlas sucks more and more...
and while working on the code you find the ARK assets for the platform saddle and "hey! I got an idea! How about we get more ARK players over here by making Atlas even more ARKy...?"

Or where you looking at the failed LastOasis and their tiny player base with there non-existing 'ship' combat and said "hold my beer..." and implemented walking Man-o-Wars / one man BattleMechs...?

none of the devs seem to play the game its a joke
